A person was taken to hospital after an incident in Watford this evening.
Eastbury Road was shut off at around 6pm after police and an ambulance were called to the scene.
It is believed a pedestrian has been hit by a car but no official details was issued by the emergency services at the time of publication.
A source says that one person was taken to hospital in an ambulance, but their condition was unclear at this point of publication. We now have an update.

Police were seen talking to a person in a car, while a person lying on the floor was being attended to.
There was extremely heavy traffic in Eastbury Road during rush hour, stretching back to Bushey station.
But traffic in the area now appears to have cleared.
