Police have allayed fears over a group of men who residents reported were acting suspiciously around an area in Watford.
Officers received several calls yesterday morning (Wednesday) claiming they were knocking on doors in Garston Crescent offering home improvement services.
But a Herts Police spokesperson told the Watford Observer that officers have spoken with the group twice and established they worked for a legitimate company.
The men were also given “suitable advice”, the spokesperson said.
