A Watford business that failed to pay £359,586.62 has been named and shamed in a government list of tax dodgers.

Rigcharm Ltd, formerly of Unit 7, Orbital 25 Business Park in Dwight Road, Watford, deliberately avoided their tax bill between August 1, 2011, and November 30, 2013.

The government hit the firm, listed on Companies House as being in non-specialised wholesale trade, with a penalty of £202,759.64 and added it to its list of deliberate tax defaulters on June 15, 2022.

The list, which was published by the HMRC, details people and businesses who have been given financial penalties for failing to comply with tax obligations or deliberately filing errors in tax returns.

HMRC's Publishing Details of Deliberate Defaulters (PDDD) routinely releases the information of those who made at least one deliberate default on more than £25,000.

This list is updated every three months and the information is deleted after one year.
