Although the car now dominates the roads, many people still rely on buses to help them get around.

This form of transport will also bring back plenty of memories for those of who used it to get to school, to meet friends for a shopping trip or for numerous other reasons.

Terry Trainor became a member of the Watford Observer nostalgia Facebook group ‘We grew up in Watford’ during this summer and has been regularly sharing archive pictures of the area since.
