Singer Katy Setterfield, the Watford FC shareholder who won BBC1's The One and Only show in February, has just claimed her prize.

She opened last week as one of the stars in the Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace Hotel on the Las Vegas strip.

Before she went, Katy threw a celebration party where she sang along with the other local finalist in the show, Joanne Burrows from Bushey.

Naturally, Katy sang as Dusty Springfield and Joanne as Cher.

The Legends show features a tribute Tina Turner, Blues Brothers, Jay Leno and, of course, Elvis.

Katy shared the stage with them and brought the house down on her opening night with four of the Dusty Springfield songs she had performed in The One and Only.

Katy said: "It was as nerve wracking to open with a great cast like this as it was to have to do a live TV show on a Saturday night but everyone has made me really welcome and it was lovely to be able to be here in Las Vegas at long last after all the excitement of winning the show."

The Imperial Palace Hotel is calling Katy's arrival the Paul Revere Show.

He rode through the streets shouting "The British are coming" and that's just what seems to be happening there.

Every show has a significant proportion of British fans who have called by or even come specially to see Katy.

She said: "It is wonderful to have such support here in America.

"I hope that they all come and see me again when I get back to the UK in September."

Katy will be touring the UK for three months in the autumn.

There is no show booked specifically for Watford but she will be in Stevenage in early September and High Wycombe in October.
