Its website said: “A fire at North Wembley is causing disruption to journeys through this station. Trains running between Watford Junction and London Euston may be cancelled or revised.

"Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

"You may use your ticket on the following services to complete your journey: Chiltern Railway, Thameslink, London Buses, London Northwestern Railway, London Overground, London Underground, and Southern.”

There is also no service on the Bakerloo line between Stonebridge Park and Harrow & Wealdstone in north west London due to the fire.
