Images of two people police want to identify after shoplifters made off with £220 worth of alcohol in Carpenders Park have been released.
Hertfordshire police said thieves entered the Co-op in The Parade at around 12.15pm on Monday, July 29, and put “numerous” bottles of alcohol in a shopping basket and inside their coat.
The offenders then left the shop without attempting to pay.
Police have now released CCTV images of a man in a bright orange jacket and woman wearing a white t-shirt and long black coat who they believe could help their investigation.
PC Gary Wallington said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please contact police.
