Two residential burglaries in Watford have triggered police appeals for witnesses.
Herts Police are investigating after an address in Ashridge Drive, South Oxhey, was targeted some time between 9.30am on Monday (August 19) and 10am Wednesday.
When the owner inspected the building, they found the rear door had been opened and police believe it was forced.
Checking the address revealed that a tumble dryer was missing but no other items are confirmed as having been taken.

The force are also investigating a burglary in The Gossamers, Meriden, at some point between 10pm on Wednesday and 5am Thursday. Thieves reportedly jumped over the back gate and stole from the resident's shed.
In both cases, Herts Police have asked anyone with information or relevant CCTV/doorbell camera footage to contact them.
