Residents have been reminded they will need to put their bins out on a different day next week.
Watford Borough Council will be running a revised waste and recycling collection timetable due to the bank holiday Monday (August 26).
The bin lorry will therefore be coming around one day later, starting on Tuesday, August 27, and returning to normal on Monday, September 2.
Therefore, if a household’s bins are usually taken on a Monday they will instead be taken on Tuesday, Tuesday’s bins will be taken on Wednesday, and so on until Saturday’s bins are taken on Sunday.
Collections in the Three Rivers District Council area, in Hertsmere, and in Dacorum will also be taking place one day later.
