A 12-year-old boy has been left with head injuries after being attacked by a man in Rickmansworth.
It was reported that a 12-year-old boy was involved in an altercation with two females in the Shepherds Lane area at around 3.35pm on Thursday, August 22.
A van then pulled up and a man allegedly got out and physically assaulted the boy, who sustained lumps and cuts to his head.
The van was then driven off.
Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened and to trace further people involved. A review of CCTV is also being carried out.
