Armed police have arrested a man after they descended on a residential street in South Oxhey this morning.
A Herts Police spokesperson confirmed they were called around 8.12am today (September 19) to reports of a man "threatening people with a zombie knife" inside a property in Otley Way.
Officers rushed to the scene and arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray. He remains in police custody at this time.
Update: he has been released on bail.
They added that there were no injuries and a knife has also been recovered.
A photo taken at around 9am appears to show two officers talking to residents, while a third and two armed police officers can be seen standing nearby.
The spokesperson confirmed it is not being linked to the A41 shooting or the Kings Langley murder investigation which was launched on Tuesday (September 17).

Money offered to hand in machetes and zombie knives in Watford
The incident was initially thought to be a Metropolitan Police-led operation although Herts Police have now confirmed it was their officers at the scene.
Police confirmed their enquiries are ongoing although it is not clear if officers are still at the scene.
It comes as possession of a zombie knife or machete is set to become illegal under new laws on Tuesday, September 24.
People in possession of the knives have days left to hand them in to police stations in exchange for £10 or more per surrendered item under a government amnesty scheme.
