Herts Police have confirmed it “was deemed all was in order” after reports of "suspicious" activity in a play park.
Over the weekend, it was rumoured among South Oxhey residents that people had been acting suspiciously at Hayling Road Play Area on Friday afternoon (September 20).
Members of the public claimed that police had been called, following which the force today (September 23) confirmed they attended but no action was needed.

A spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 5pm on Friday September 20 to report a man acting suspiciously in a park on Hayling Road, South Oxhey.
“The informant was spoken to, and it was deemed all was in order.”
The reports had prompted parents to raise concerns over children’s safety in the area’s parks.
