Magistrates have banned a motorist for almost two years after he was caught behind the wheel while high on cannabis and cocaine.
Reece Griffiths, of King Georges Avenue in Watford, appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court yesterday (September 24) charged with two counts of driving while over the legal limit on a controlled drug and possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis.
The 31-year-old admitted being high on cannabis and cocaine while driving a silver Volkswagen Golf in Malcolm Road, South London, on March 23 as well as the possession charge.
Drug tests found he had 2.3ug of THC per litre of blood, above the legal limit of 2ug, while the proportion of cocaine in his blood was also over the specified limit.
