Police have shut down a property in Hemel Hempstead that has been plagued by crime and antisocial behaviour.
The full closure order in Iveagh Court, off Alexandra Road, was secured by Dacorum Community Safety Unit (CSU) following numerous complaints about issues including drug use.
Ten crime reports were also linked to the property over an eight-month period.
Community Safety Sergeant Christopher Bignell said: “Removing someone from their home is always a last resort.
“Sadly, despite several offers of support and attempts to encourage the resident to change their behaviour, it persisted and we had no choice but to seek this order to provide some much-needed respite for others living in the area.
“I hope it reassures people that we do take action in these circumstances.”

The CSU, local police and borough council gathered evidence of behaviour that was described as “having a profoundly detrimental effect on the local community”.
The closure order was then granted by St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 4, which bans anyone from entering the address for three months.
Anyone who breaches the terms of the order could face arrest and a fine, imprisonment or both.
“If you have information about crime and anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood, please don’t hesitate to report it to us,” Mr Bignell added.
Details can be reported via non-emergency number 101 or the force’s website.
