A Watford student has been named by coroners after falling from a cliff.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called after Benjamin Kehoe, who was born in Watford and reportedly still lived in the area, fell 15 metres into the sea at Welcombe Mouth beach on August 22, it has been revealed.
Exeter Coroners’ Court identified the 20-year-old as the individual who died during a short hearing on Monday (October 21).
The Coroner in Devon has confirmed that police were contacted by HM Coastguard to report that a body was found at East Milford Farm, Hartland, near Bideford, six days after the fall.

A full hearing is due to take place at an unconfirmed date, as more information is being put together first. The cause of death is still unknown.
Prior to the body being found, the BBC reported that search and rescue teams from Devon, Cornwall, and Wales were part of a search that involved multiple helicopters, the RNLI, police, and paramedics.
It was reportedly called off, pending new information, on August 24.
