Three people have been arrested after tasers and batons were found in raids at Watford addresses.
Acting on previously gathered intelligence, Herts Police conducted two separate warrants in North Watford on Friday (November 15).
Officers arrested a woman in her 40s and a man in his 30s on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place and Section 5 firearms offences in relation to a taser that was found at the first address.
Tasers, a type of stun gun, are a prohibited weapon in the UK and fall under Section 5 firearm legislation. A baton was also found at the address.
Police again seized what is believed to be a taser during the second warrant and a man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Section 5 firearm in relation to this.
All three have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
