A 12-year-old from Watford has admitted to robbery and racially aggravated harassment.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (November 25).
He pleaded guilty to robbing a victim of a Canada Goose jacket worth around £800 in Ealing on Friday, November 22, as well as using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress on the same day.
According to court documents, the harassment charge was racially aggravated within the terms of section 28 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
He is set to appear in Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on January 9, next year, for sentencing.

Madison Fairbrother, of Bluebell Drive, Bedmond, appeared in St Albans Magistrates’ Court on November 22, and admitted to driving with cannabis in her system.
The 21-year-old was banned from driving for 13 months and ordered to pay £666.
She had 9.8 micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood.
The threshold limit for drug driving offences, set to rule out potential accidental exposure, is two micrograms per litre.
