A woman from Rickmansworth will be delivering post while running to raise money for a cancer charity.
Louise Rayner will join the Rickmansworth Royal Mail team on their rounds next week to raise funds for the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre.
The centre, at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood, provides CT, MRI, and PET/CT scans to diagnose and monitor cancer and other serious conditions.
Ms Rayner has received her training and Royal Mail has agreed to donate her wages for the week to the centre.
Her company, NumberMill Accounting Ltd, will match this donation.
She said: “I’m excited to share that from December 2nd, I’ll be delivering post around Rickmansworth — on the run.
"This unique collaboration with Royal Mail and Paul Strickland Scanner Centre combines my love for running with the opportunity to support a cause that’s deeply personal to me."

"This initiative is in loving memory of my dear friend Julia Bell, who sadly passed away from cancer," Ms Rayner added.
"Julia always said the scanners at the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre gave her an additional seven precious years with her family, allowing her to meet and spend time with her young grandson, Diego.
"Her legacy inspires me to give back to the centre that meant so much to her."
Any money raised will go towards providing high-quality, next-generation cancer imaging services at the Paul Strickland Scanner Centre.
