Woolworths in South Oxhey will be among the first 200 branches to close, just two days after Christmas.
The shop in St Andrew's Road will shut on December 27, while Woolies in High Street and St Albans Road, Watford, will both close on January 2.
In total, 807 shops across the country will shut after the chain went into administration, crippled by huge debts, and 27,000 people will lose their jobs unless a last minute buyer can be found.
The branches will display signs counting down the days until they close.
