An Oxhey woman is pleading with people to check their outbuildings and sheds for her missing cat as weekend firework celebrations approach.
The worried owner, who asked not to be named, said the four-year-old female had never been outside at this time of year and is worried the fireworks will terrify her.
The cat has short tortoise-shell and white hair with yellow eyes, and was last seen on October 28 on Oxhey's Highlands Estate.
It was wearing two collars, one with a barrel name tag. Anyone with information should telephone 07879 867031.
Meanwhile, Park Veterinary Centre are looking for the owners of a ten-year-old, black and white male cat.
It was found on Tuesday, October 27, in The Gossamers, in Garston, with no tags or collar.
The cat has a heart condition causing it to have difficulty breathing, although the problem is being kept under control.
For more information, telephone Natasha Reader at the centre in Cassiobury Drive on 01923 818681.
