A man died from injuries suffered in a road accident in Hampermill Lane, Oxhey, yesterday evening.
The accident took place at about 6pm and involved two cars. Three people had to be cut from the vehicles.
The man, believed to be in his 20's, died later.
Police closed to road until about 9.30pm.
There have been several accidents in Hampermill Lane in recent months and residents are calling for road safety measures to be introduced.
This is the second death this week following a road accident.
Teenager Eleanor Austin died from her injuries on Monday night after being involved in an accident on the A405 at Bricket Wood on Friday afternoon.
