Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield have welcomed a new bobby to the beat, PC Amanda Lee.

PC Lee, originally from Hemel Hempstead, is the new neighbourhood officer and will be working closely with PCs Bardhyl Agallili and Nik Pringle, trying to get to know the area and its specific issues and problems.

Expressing her eagerness to become involved in village life, PC Lee said: “I have been a police officer for three years and have previously worked on intervention, which means responding to immediate assistance calls which come into the police control room.

“While I enjoyed that, I felt it was time for a change and time to build further relationships within the community.

“I am very much looking forward to building on existing good relationships we have with the people of Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield and would urge anyone who would like to speak with me about any concerns or issues, or just to say hello, to get in touch with me.

“I am hoping to get to know the people of Bovingdon, Chipperfield and Flaunden and helping them as much as possible.”
