THE top two clubs from last season kicked off their World Class Senior Homes League campaign with wins on a sun-drenched opening day.
Defending champions Oxhey Jets beat St Peters 3-1 thanks to a brace from Wayne Gladdy, while an early strike from Chris Eldridge gave Sun Postal a narrow win over Bushey Rangers.
Elsewhere, Bovingdon slipped to a surprise 3-2 defeat at home to Wormley Rovers, while goals from Glynn Spurr and new signing Nathan Butt gave Bedmond a 2-1 win over Hadley.
Mark Salih and Paul Regan were both on target for Croxley Guild in their 2-1 win over Met Police, while new boys Old Parmiterians went down 5-1 at home to London Lions.
