I HAVE had a query about the history of the Clock Tower, in particular in the 1930's.
When was the No Entry sign put there? When did Halfords have their shop next door, and when did Halfords' windows change from bay or bow style to a more modern design? Does anyone know of a sinister event at the Clock Tower such as a murder or horrific accident?
