Barclays lost an intriguing mach against unbeaten leaders Southgate by six wickets.
Opting to bat, Barclays could only total 181, with Evert Ferreira (66) providing the basis of the innings. Southgate romped home in reply.
On Sunday in their first Chess Valley match, Barclays beat Alexander Park by six wickets.
On Saturday Barclays entertain Uxbridge before South Hampstead visit in the Ibex Cup on Sunday.
