Luke Calvert, of Finchley ABC, will represent England against Scotland, Wales and Ireland, in the Four Nations Junior tournament at Glasgow next week.
It's the first representative honour for Luke, 17, who was called up for training with the England squad after being runner-up in the ABA Junior Championships at Pontefract last month. In that fight he was outpointed by Ryan Ashworth of Scarborough, a decision that his trainer Jack Lee described as robbery.
Calvert is the only London boxer in the England team.
