After Herd, Young and Ben Hammond had gone close Hammond put the full back under so much pressure, the full back put the ball in his own net. after 10 minutes.
Then, after 25 mins, Liam Walsh got the ball on the edge of the box, turned and hit a snap-shot in-off then post.
Hammond, Coyne and Fisher went close as Watford continued to dominate before Ipswich reduced the arrears when Dean Bowdich cut ion from the left to hit a great shot.
With Coyne and Ebeyer beginning to dominate, Walsh went close after 60 min and then Hammond scored four minutes later following a 12-pass move.
"A very good and satisfying performance," said coach David Dodds.
