RESURFACING will cause road closures in the Shenley Lane and Napsbury Lane area of St Albans over the next two weeks.
Work on Shenley Lane at the A414 overbridge, Napsbury Lane and the connecting A414 slip roads, due to start on Thursday, December 13, will bar the routes to traffic between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 5pm on Saturday.
Access to affected properties will be maintained, and diversions along the A414 and A1081 will be clearly signposted.
Hertfordshire County Council has advised motorists to allow longer for their journeys, and take extra care.
