ARGUABLY the two highest profile managers in Division One will come face-to-face on Saturday, August 11, after Watford were handed a mouthwatering start to their new campaign.

Gianluca Vialli's side open with a trip to relegated Manchester City, giving Hornets fans the earlist possible opportunity to see how former England manager Kevin Keegan is coming to terms with his return to club football.

Newly promoted Rotherham United will be the first visitors to Vicarage Road the next Saturday, before Watford embark on another potentially tricky trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Potential highlights of a hectic next couple of months are the visits of beaten play-off sides Birmingham City, featuring Watford's top scorer last season Tommy Mooney, Preston North End to Vicarage Road at the end of September, and backtoback away trips to Yorkshire teams in late October.

The festive period sees the Hornets at Wimbledon on Boxing Day, while Millwall travel to Vicarage Road on New Year's Day.

Relegated Coventry City and Bradford City both visit Watford in March, and Vialli's team finish their campaign at home to Gillingham.
