Remembrance Day memorials took place in Croxley Green and South Oxhey this weekend.
Three Rivers District Council chairman Ron Spellen was among veterans, cadets, and members of the public who gathered to remember the fallen at the Croxley Green War Memorial.
Councillor Spellen also visited All Saints Church in South Oxhey to lay the council wreath.
He said: “The service was a wonderful remembrance of all the soldiers who gave their lives fighting in the wars.
“It was magnificent to see so many people from the local community and representatives from the Army, Navy and Air Force come together to remember those who have fallen.
“I felt honoured to lay the council’s wreath in their memory.”
