An annual fundraising summer fete in Bovingdon was opened by X-Factor and Dancing On Ice star Ray Quinn.
The Old MacDonald’s Day Nursery hosted the event, and as well as Mr Quinn, entertained visitors with jazz band, a hog roast, bouncy castle, and fair ground rides.
In total £1750 was raised for the nursery.
Director Mandy Selwood said: “We decided to hold a summer fete to raise money for new nursery equipment and have a great social day too. It was a very busy day despite the bad weather.
“The nursery has been open for more than 13 years and in that time we’ve raised in excess of £20,000 for various charities.
“We were overwhelmed by the amount of people that showed support attending our fete.”
The fete was held on Saturday July 16.
