Free flu jabs are now available to groups at risk from the illness.
Anyone aged 65 or over, pregnant women nd people with certain existing health conditions, including diabetes, is eligible for the vaccine.
Carers and frontline health and social care staff are also recommended to receive the free jab.
The vaccine changes every year to be effective against the latest strains of flu, so it is necessary to have it annually.
Those needing the jab can arrange an appointment with their local GP.
