It's deja vu for Watford with the Hornets hosting Bristol City for the second time this season, with the two clubs set to meet in the FA Cup third round next month.
Marco Silva's men will be keen to enact revenge for their Carabao Cup second round exit in August, when the Robins came back from 1-0 down to knock the Hornets out 3-2 on their own patch.
Since then, both teams have enjoyed a fine season in their respective divisions, with Watford eighth in the top flight and City third in the Championship after beating Middlesbrough 2-1 at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
The tie, which looks unlikely to be chosen as a televised game, will be played on the weekend of January 6-7.
