Sebastian Prodl is targeting all three points from today’s meeting with Leicester City as Watford look to turn around their ailing form.

A 1-0 defeat at Brighton on Saturday meant the Hornets have lost four straight Premier League games and are experiencing their first genuine slump under Marco Silva.

It is too soon to suggest Watford are embroiled in the relegation conversation, but they will certainly become central figure to it should their current form go on.

With this in mind, Prodl is eager for the Hornets to turn a corner as soon as possible, starting with the visit of City to Vicarage Road.

“Relegation is not a topic at the moment, but we need to make sure it doesn’t become one,” he said.

“Every game now is important. Leicester, Swansea there is no excuse anymore and we need to make sure we get some results, bounce back and prove ourselves.

“As individuals everyone should be alert now and look at themselves to see what went wrong. We can do better and we have to do better.”

Defeat against the Foxes, who have taken 10 points from their last five outings, could see Watford fall to as low as 14th in the table dependant on results elsewhere.
