Watford have taken up the option to extend Miguel Britos’ contract by a further year, tying the Uruguayan to the club until the summer of 2019.
The news came with the announcement of the Vicarage Road side’s retained list for the 2018/19 season.
Watford have also released two Under-23 players with Brandon Mason and Charlie Rowan leaving the club upon the completion of their contracts.
Meanwhile Under-18 pair Yazid Kaikay and Reece Stray will depart Vicarage Road after the conclusion of their scholarships this summer.
