Watford extended their unbeaten run on the opening day of the season to a 12th campaign after proving too strong for Brighton & Hove Albion at Vicarage Road this afternoon.
Two quality goals from Roberto Pereyra were the difference as Javi Gracia's men ran out deserved 2-0 victors, having been superior to the Seagulls for the majority of the contest.
