Bushey Sports Club continued their encouraging start to the new Herts Senior County League season with an impressive 5-0 victory at Belstone.

Adem Ali and Bilal Butt both scored twice for the visitors, with Zakaria Kayani also on target to keep Bushey three points off the Premier Division summit.

Bedmond Sports edged out Chipperfield Corinthians 2-1 to pick up their second victory since returning to the league, but Evergreen and Sun Sports continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table.

Sun are still looking for their first point of the new campaign after losing 2-1 at Knebworth, while second-from-bottom Evergreen were also beaten on their travels, Brandon Whitman scoring the consolation in a 3-1 loss at Sandridge Rovers.

Oxhey Jets Reserves are moving in the right direction in Division One after a 3-0 home win over Buntingford Town, but neighbours Oxhey were edged out 1-0 by high-flyers Bush Hill Rangers.

There were home defeats also for Aldenham, 2-1 at the hands of Hoddesdon Town Reserves, Bovingdon Reserves suffered a 1-0 setback to St Margaretsbury Reserves and Old Parmiterians went down 2-0 in their own back yard to leaders Hadley Reserves.
