There was derby success for Watford FC Girls Under-18s on Sunday as they triumphed 3-0 at Luton Town Hatters.

Goals from Katie Fitch, Sydney Graham and Sasha Williams secured the win in the Greater London Women’s Football League clash.

The previous day had seen a busy morning at Sun Postal Sports Club with five Watford teams at home in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League.

Bella Millar and Kimberley Ortiz were on target for the Under-9 Yellows in an end-to-end match against Hitchin Belles, while Daisy-May Bird and Amelia Baskiewicz scored for the Under-9 Greens at Bedwell Rangers.

Elsa Walker led the way with a hat-trick for the Under-10s at St Albans City Youth, with Vedkhika Walia, Jamaica Ogilvie-Charlesworth, Verity Richman and Charlotte Grosso also netting.

The Under-11s hosted Denham United Wildcats and scored through Solange Brellier, Sienna Greener, Ugomma Ekendu-Obu, Zara Labastide and Lexe Allaway.

Sundai Amele and Victoria Lussambo stole the show with four goals apiece for the Under-12s at St Albans Girls North, and a fine team display also saw Chloe Manning (2) and Ebba Taylor-Pugh among the goals.

An Olivia Brock treble and further goals for Katie Lemon, Leigh Underwood and, on her debut, Maddie Armstrong saw the Under-13s get their first win of the season against Harvesters.

The Under-14s are also off the mark after beating Ruislip Rangers thanks to Charlotte Forster (2), debut-making Macey Bannerman-Lloyd, Millie Tugby, Erin Shacklock and an own goal.

Aulona Xhema’s lone goal was the difference for Watford Under-15s at Hitchin Belles, while the Under-16s bounced back from their defeat the previous week to see off BSC FC 6-0 at home.

Amy Holdcroft was another player to celebrate her debut with a goal and Leah Knapp, Charli O’Connor, Danielle Ransom, Holly Reid and Amy Drew also struck.
