Juan Camillo Hernandez picked up a yellow card as Huesca were beaten 1-0 by nine-man Real Sociedad on Friday night.

The heated La Liga clash saw Juanmi sent off in the 71st minute before Theo Hernandez joined his Sociedad team-mate in being dismissed 11 minutes later.

Despite their lack of numbers, the visitors managed to secure all three points thanks to Mikel Merino’s goal which arrived shortly after the hour mark.

Hernandez will look to be involved once again on Tuesday night when Huesca continue their league campaign with a visit to Atletico Madrid.

Friday night also saw Dodi Lukebakio in action on the continent as he came on as a sub in Fortuna Dusseldorf’s goalless draw with Stuttgart.

The winger, who has three goals in four games for the German Bundesliga outfit, came on with 19 minutes to play.

His next chance to feature comes with a home game against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.

Back on home soil, Jerome Sinclair helped Sunderland record a comfortable 4-1 win over Rochdale at the Stadium of Light.

The forward played just over 20 minutes of the League One encounter to record his fifth appearance for the Black Cats.

Alex Jakubiak also had to make do with a substitute outing as he came on in the 73rd minute of Bristol Rovers’ meeting with Coventry City.

Goals from Gavin Reilly, Tom Lockyer and Ollie Clarke got the goals for Rovers as they ran out 3-1 winners in the League One encounter.
