Anthony Taylor will referee Watford for the second time this season when the Hornets take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The Hornets secured a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace when Taylor was last in charge of one of their matches and will hope for more of the same against London-based opposition on Saturday.

That game saw Taylor issue six yellow cards and Etienne Capoue was fortunate not to be sent off by the official for a nasty challenge on Wilfried Zaha.

Taylor, who was most recently in charge of Burnley’s 4-0 defeat of Bournemouth, is yet to show a red card this term and has made 23 bookings in six games.

Watford’s record under Taylor last term was up and down to say the least and they opened the season with a 3-3 draw against Liverpool with Taylor in charge.

However, heavy 6-0 and 5-0 defeats against Manchester City and Liverpool sandwiched a 1-0 victory over Everton.
