Former Watford assistant manager Dean Austin has been sacked by Northampton Town.
Austin, who had two separate spells as assistant at Vicarage Road and helped the Hornets gain promotion to the Premier League in 2015, joined the Cobblers as caretaker boss in May.
Having been unable to keep Town in League One last term, Austin oversaw a slow start to this campaign and Northampton currently sit fourth off the bottom of League Two.
His final game came in a 4-0 defeat to Mansfield on Saturday and he leaves Town with just one win to his name in 2018/19.
He is the fifth manager to leave Northampton since they gained promotion from League Two in 2016.
