Isaac Success has been called up to the Nigeria squad for the Super Eagles’ upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header against Libya.

The games, which take place on Friday, October 12 and Monday, October 15, will see the Watford striker attempt to add to his solitary senior international cap.

That appearance came in March 2017 and saw Nigeria draw 1-1 against Senegal at Barnet’s The Hive Stadium.

Success has previously played for his country’s Under-17 and Under-20 sides, earning 11 caps at junior level.

Despite being given limited game time this season – Success has only started two Carabao Cup games – the powerful 22-year-old has impressed.

He has two goals in nine outings this season and went close to scoring against Arsenal after coming on as a second half substitute at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Success joins former Watford man Odion Ighalo in the squad for the games.
