Juan Camilo Hernandez completed the full 90 minutes as Huesca were held to a 1-1 draw by Girona in La Liga on Sunday.

The game was decided by two spot kicks as first Chirstian Stuani fired home from 12 yards to give Girona a 37th minute lead, before Gonzalo Melero matched the forward’s effort 18 minutes from time.

On a personal note, this week has provided plenty of positives for Hernandez as the forward earned his first call-up to the senior Colombia side.

It was a testing afternoon for Dodi Lukebakio on Saturday as his Fortuna Dusseldorf side were beaten 3-0 by Nuremberg.

The loss, which featured goals from Hanno Behrens (pen), Mikael Ishaek and Federico Palacios-Martinez, came in spite of Dusseldorf having over 60 per cent of the possession.

Lukebakio, who has impressed with three goals in six games this term, played 68 minutes of the Bundesliga game before being replaced.

In League One, Alex Jakubiak came on for the final minute of Bristol Rovers’ meeting with Bradford but couldn’t make a late impact in the goalless stalemate.

Jerome Sinclair has had to make do with limited game time with Sunderland and was frustrated once more as he remained an unused sub in the Black Cats’ 1-1 League One draw at Coventry.

Randell Williams was able to get on as Wycombe Wanderers took on Southend in League Two after he replaced Fred Onyedinma shortly after the hour mark.

The result didn’t go the Chairboys way, though, and late goals from Craig Mackail-Smith and Adebayo Akinfenwa weren’t enough to prevent a 3-2 loss at Adams Park.

Goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann’s wait to add to his solitary Kilmarnock appearance goes on after he remained on the bench for the entirety of their 3-1 win over Motherwell.
