A total of 10 Watford players are in contention to play for their countries during this international break.

In addition to the call-ups for Craig Cathcart, Nathaniel Chalobah, Christian Kabasele, Adalberto Penaranda, Roberto Pereyra and Isaac Success we have previously reported, Sebastian Prodl could line-up against Cathcart when Austria face Northern Ireland in the Nations League on Friday. Austria then travel to Denmark for a friendly on Tuesday, October 16.

That same day could also see Pontus Dahlberg take his place between the posts for Sweden Under-21’s European Championship qualifier while Domingos Quina is part of the Portugal Under-20 squad that will also take on Italy on October 16.

That is the second friendly the Portugese youngsters are due to play following Thursday’s game with Switzerland.

Ben Wilmot is also away from London Colney during the current break, having been invited to train with England Under-20s.

Futhermore, Hornets loanee Juan Camilo 'Cucho' Hernandez will be hoping to make his first appearance for Colombia having been called up to the senior squad for the first time.
