Joao Pedro has been described as a project for the future by Watford head coach Javi Gracia.
The Hornets completed the signing of the Brazilian Teenager, who will join Watford once he turns `18, last Friday.
Pedro is highly rated in his homeland and is among the most productive players for his age group having impressed for Fluminense’s youth sides.
His route to England sees him follow in the footsteps of Richarlison who also joined Watford from the Brazilian outfit last summer.
Gracia believes Watford have signed a player with plenty of potential but says Watford supporters will have to bide their time before seeing the best of the forward.
The Watford boss said: “In this moment, he is young player and it is a project for the future.
The thing I think all of us need to show is patience. We will see when he will come here and how he can help us. We have to wait.”
