Watford fans will print a second banner in tribute to the victims of the Leicester City helicopter crash after reaching their original fundraising target of £800.

Five people, including Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, died when his helicopter crashed outside the Foxes’ King Power Stadium on October 27.

Watford supporter group, The 1881 Movement, decided to pay respect to Srivaddhanaprabha by displaying a banner during the Hornets’ away game with Leicester City on December 1.

A gofundme page, which was set up by Roy Moore, saw a target of £800 reached in under 24 hours and the total currently sits north of £2,500.

Some of the extra funds will now be spent on a second banner in honour of the other victims of the crash, Kaveporn Punpare, Nusara Suknamai, Izabela Rosa and Eric Swaffer.

Any remaining money from the fundraising effort will be donated to charities Srivaddhanaprabha supported in the Leicester area.
