Tom Cleverley has joined Troy Deeney in returning to first team training.
The midfielder is yet to feature for the Hornets this season after undergoing surgery on an Achilles problem in the summer.
Deeney, meanwhile, has been out with a hamstring problem which has seen the Watford skipper miss Watford’s last three games.
A video put out by the club shows Cleverley and Deeney taking part in light running and passing exercises with the rest of the Watford squad.
Deeney could well be in contention to play some part against Southampton on Saturday, but the Watford Observer understands that Cleverley will not be rushed back into action.
