Hemel Hempstead Rovers moved six points clear at the top of the West Herts Premier Division after a 6-3 victory over Langleybury Cricket Club.

A man-of-the-match display by James Bundey was pivotal to the victory as he scored four times and set up the other two goals.

Skilful footwork saw him net the first but after Dean Roper had doubled the lead, Adrian Keane saw a penalty saved.

John Edey then hit the crossbar but made up for the miss when his pass found Bundey to make it 3-0. Soon after the same pair combined again for a fourth goal before the break.

Marcus Tower got his name on the scoresheet when he converted a Bundey cross and the hat-trick scorer netted his fourth from outside the box.

With the score at 6-0, Hemel made some changes and they lost their way in the last 15 minutes, conceding three times through Ollie Illott, Kieran Shepherd and Matthew Goodman.

Glenn Sports are Rovers’ closest pursuers and they could move level if they win their two games in hand.

Sports celebrated their eighth win in a row but they were made to work for their 5-3 victory over Caddington.

James Ray (2) and James Hayward put Caddington 3-2 up at half-time after Jack Bishop had netted both Glenn goals.

However, the victors turned it around after the break, scoring three times in the last 30 minutes through James Hocking, Frankie Henley and Hayden Smith.

A Mitchell Cole brace and Kieran Donaldson’s goal moved Bovingdon A into third place with a 3-0 victory over The Engineer Harpenden.

Following back-to-back defeats, Tring Athletic A returned to winning ways as Jack Sunderland’s hat-trick and an Ollie Butler goal gave them a 4-2 win against Croxley Community. Harry Brock and William Wilson were on target for Croxley.

Division One leaders Tring Town marched on with an 8-0 thumping of Global.

First-half goals from Reece Churchill, Ryan Shefras and Dan Woosley put Town well in command by the break.

They turned the screw further in the second half as Churchill and Shefras completed their hat-tricks, with Ryan Woosley also getting his name on the scoresheet.

Potten End maintained their unbeaten league record with a 3-1 victory over Sun Sports.

Dale Jenkins opened the scoring before top scorer Drew Duggan netted twice to secure the points for Potten. Glen Cook netted a late consolation.

Hunton Bridge ended their six-game losing streak by edging out Croxley Community Reserves 4-3. Dean Cupit, James Evans and Leroy Odle were on target for Croxley.

Darren Miles, George Whiting and John Callaghan were on target as Tring Corinthians Reserves beat Harpenden Rovers Reserves 3-1, while the derby clash between Oxhey A and Oxhey Academy was abandoned due to a serious injury.
