Jon Moss will take charge of a Watford game for the third time this season when he referees Liverpool’s visit to Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The Hornets will hope for a better outcome than the one they achieved last time Moss oversaw one of their games, with October’s visit of AFC Bournemouth ending in a 4-0 defeat.
That game saw Christian Kabasele given his marching orders and become one of three players Moss has shown a red card to this season.
Moss has brandished 40 yellow cards in 13 games this term and was also in charge when for the Hornets’ season opener against Brighton, which ended in a 2-0 Watford victory at Vicarage Road.
Moss is yet to referee a Liverpool game this season and was most recently the man in the middle for the Merseyside club’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in February.
