Watford FC Girls Under-16s were the club’s biggest winners at the weekend, hitting 14 goals without reply past Garston Ladies Tigers.

Charli O’Connor led a fine team display with a hat-trick and the rest of the goals were shared between Ceri Milnes (2), Millie Maggioni (2), Leah Knapp (2), Aimee Charman (2), Hollie Barnfield, Nicole Madell and Amy Drew.

The Under-14s also struck double figures, building on a 3-0 lead at half-time to run out 10-0 victors over Denham United Wildcats in the Herts Girls Partnership League Cup.

Macey Bannerman-Lloyd scored half of the Hornets’ goals, with Shakira Kafero-Roberts (2), Erin Shacklock (2) and Lucy Kirby also on target.

In the younger age groups, the Under-9 Greens travelled to Meninas where Amelia Baskiewicz hit a hat-trick and there were braces for both Daisy-May Bird and Olive Mitchell.

The Under-10s entertained Tottenham Hotspur Ladies in a friendly. Verity Richman (3), Elsa Walker (2), Daisy Conway (2), Charlotte Grosso and Elisha Price all netted for the Golden Girls.

Solange Brellier came off the bench to score twice and Lexe Allaway netted direct from a free-kick in a tough but enjoyable encounter between Watford Under-11s and Garston Ladies Jaguars.

The Under-13s found themselves 2-0 down at Harvesters but recovered superbly to take a 3-2 lead through Eva Brown (2) and Olivia Brock, only for a last-minute goal to deny them all three points.

Sydney Graham and Nicole were both on target twice and Tiarna Reid also struck to send the Under-18s through to the next round in the junior section of the Capital Women’s Cup following a 5-1 victory over Sport London E Benfica Development.
